Basically I don’t want to believe that we live in a world where these spoilers are true. I’m hoping for some sort of conspiracy theory that glee is leaking bogus spoilers so we have surprise for the final season. Or something. Because I just feel like this is out of character up and down and sideways. Blaine moving on so fast? Failing out of school? The fact they are bringing Rachel’s dad back for such a random story line? Like what. I just don’t want it to be real. I’ve always stood by the creative choices of the writers, because even their “craziest” decisions have made sense for me in a way, especially the payoff. But this. I don’t understand at all. Ryan Murphy has said so often how much he wants people to have a happy end. Kurt epically. This just doesn’t go with that at all. This is Glee, not American Horror Story. And I’m just sort of upset and feel betrayed as a fan if this is all real because I feel like I’m being deprived of what could be a really spectacular final season.
The message in the song (Shake It Off) is a problem I think we all deal with and an issue that we deal with on a daily basis. That we don’t live just in a celebrity take down culture, WE live in a take down culture. People will find anything about you and twist it to where it’s weird or wrong or annoying or strange or bad. You have to not only live your life in spite of people who don’t understand you, you have to have more fun than they do.
